First Mods - Advice needed

  Focus RS
I currently have a 182 FF that is completely standard, so ive decided that its time for new bits seems as though ive never changed anything. Im currently thinking:

ITG panel filter, K-Tec decat pipe to fit the standard exhaust, Uprated pads all round and either Apex 40mm or Eibach 30mm srpings.

Any suggestions or things to look out for, or is this a good start?

the plans sound good mate. the first thing i changed on my clio was the suspension to change the stance of the car.

Yeah ive seen the pictures of yours with its new springs on your thread, looks really good, did it settle a lot lower than that?

A better steering wheel! Its makes the twisties so much more fun!

Eibach sportlines are a good option too, as is the upgraded brake kit mentioned above :)

ive spent a fortune in the past years trying different brakes, exhausts, filters etc and when i total it up it makes me sick and ive not spent a quarter of what some people spend! i started off only improving things i felt needed improved but in the last year ive ended up buying stuff just for the sake of it!

Apex will be more stiff/bumpy but lower, sportlines will be a little bit higher and better for comfort.

ITG panel filter or maxogen, Eibach Sportlines, YozzaSport exhaust, Ferodo DS2500 pads for the front and braided lines as Martin said, no need to change the rear pads, DONE.

My old 182 with the mods above..

If your keeping the car for a short while lower it and have done.

If its going to be a long term thing then my advice would be to save up and go for a proper dose of power, (supercharger, Ktec 2.5k turbo conversion). Cams, porting this and that will end up costing the same in the long run with no where near the same bang per buck
