First proper pics of my 172 and some light trails too

I have had my 172 a few weeks now, i have had the belts done with fred and didnt really want to mention my car on hear until after that so as not to tempt fate with the belts!!

Well good thing i didnt really cos once the belts were off fred showed me how badly worn the old one was and said that i was really increadibly lucky, he also said that the aux belt tensioner was in the worst way he had ever seen as the spring had snapped inside. I am so glad that all is well with my car and that i was so increabily lucky with them.

Here is a couple of pictures of it at BTM.

I was pretty bored this evening and decided to go for a drive and look for some photo locations, it started raining half way through but i think they are still ok.

Yeah definetly, makes me realise how much of a prick i must of been ragging my 1.2 around, was a fun car tho, and now the belts are done i can properly give it some without worring about it in the back of my mind

yes i am very pleased with it

I did my first mod on friday, i added a skoda splitter which is the bargain of the century

my current plans are:

yozza race exhaust
eibach sportlines
solid top mounts
197 Renaultsport badge
Cup spoiler
Turinis or some other nice alloys
Ph1/v6 airbox
Whiteline ARB
possible engine work (mathed inlets etc.)

Then one day turn it into a trackday car maybe!!
