Fitting a Rev Counter?

I have a Clio MK 2 Phase 1 Clio, I currently do not have a rev counter and wish to fit one either an external pod or changing the dash, id perfer to change the dash so its all intergrated but not sure if it is a simple swop or alot of work involved.

I would ahve thought the wiring would probably be behind the dash just not getting used, If so you would just need to swap the main dials. Thats just my thoughts, not definite knowledge though!
