dont think so. u have to go buy another head unit if u wanna run an amp - u WILL need one for a sub.

just make sure u buy an alpine!

Can just run high level inputs from speaker cables just split them from the rear speakers. Few amps can do this the problem is that the quality is reduced quite a bit.

you can run an amp from your standard headunit buy buying an adapter but you have to loose a set of speakers unless you run them through your amp

This was the subject of another thread where I added a full explanation of how to do this,

I cant find the thread now, perhaps someone remembers where and when it was.

i run a sub and amp from my standard headunit and have all the existing speakers working.

All i did was to buy a standard iso extension cable (for between the headunit and the cars wiring loom) onto this i soldered a high level line convertor (coverts the speaker wire to a phono lead) in parallel with the wiring loom (so basically it sprouts off from my rear speak connections) i took a cable from the ignition wire on the extension loom to run as a remote switch. and it works great with out cutting any of the existing cable of the cars loom.
i have all 4 speaker in the car working (6 inc tweaters) and an amp running my sub, its been running for a year now with no problem
