ne help would be much appreciated!

spose i could, jus lackin in cash so thatll av to wait til next pay cheque!

how would i go bout fittin the 6" in the doors?

maybe if you push the speaker reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hard it might just squeeze in!! :p lol

...or you could ask bradbrook for help cos i cant be bothered to help ya!! ;) lol

Have you got the speakers?

You could try em and see how much moddification to teh hole you need to do, i wouldnt have thought it was much, then you could just get an angle grinder wiht a grinding / cutting (depending on how much needs remocing) and just enlarget eh opening, and dril new holes and hey presto.

BTW, how did you fit the speaker through the trim, on mine there is a gap of about 1" between trima nd door body, obvously if you mount to door body then you have the grill inside the door trim. Mine atm are actually screwed to the plastic trim

Luner - i cut a 1.5mm thick (in a ring shape) of MDF (momo supply you a stencil ring to draw round) - this then comes flush with the door cards and the MOMOs cover the MDF. Speakers then screw into into the MDF -> into drilled holes in the door. This helps stop vibration too.

Al - there 13cms mate, tho if you heard them you would think they were alot bigger. There running from an alpne amp under the seat. Have a listen at the next meet if u like.

in the rear ones , i just screwed them in, the cotton stuff helps to support it, and the plastic is double skinned in that particular area. plus 4" aint that heavy.

Different for the 6" inch in the front tho

Al Ive a spare Sony amp that you can borrow to run them, as long as you return my missing socket!

As for fitting the 6inch components youll prob only need a spacer for it.

Riplash should drop off the speakers somewhen, probably be a mission to fit but never the less should sound good!

well betta than standards
