Fitting HIDS

  Mazda Mx5 1.8 Mk2
Hiya,

Looking at Getting a set of Hids for my clio, I have a 1.4 SI which has the same light setup as the ph1 172.

How much work is involved in installing a set of Hids?

How simple is it to swap to normal bulbs if i wanted to remove the Hids for some reason?

Yeah that's the kit I was looking at getting, how much work is required as far as modifying the light cluster?, can't seem to find any guides or anything like that on fitting them however everyone says it takes about ten mins, what do I actually have to do as far as fitting them goes?

No modifying at all. The hid bulb is the same fitment as the original halogen bulb (HB3 iirc). So all you need to do is take the old halogen bulb out the cluster and unplug it and put the hid bulb in the cluster and plug the ballast into the original wiring system. Really simple mate I thought it was going be alot harder than it actually was.
