fixing/replacing horn?

My horn has stopped working - Is it straightforward to fix/replace it?

Check the connections on the horn itself. Mine stopped and that was due to it being corroded. It shouldnt be too hard to get to. If its like the mk1 it behind the bumper under the arch liner. Anyone confirm this?

Indeed, it behind the right hand side of the front bumper and yes remove arch liner to get to it.

have you checked the fuses?

my horn stopped working, but it was carried out under warranty and i didnt ask what they did.

my horn was corroded aswell behind the bumper,i had to get new wiring aswell as a new horn.

just pull the connecter on and off a few times mines working ok now... touch wood

so frustrating without a horn when there is so many d"£kheads on the road

Kenny if you have a problem getting the horn see a doctor




Seriously check for corrosion most likely - easy job to replace - Now go get dixie as your air horn lol
