Does anyone know if flame red 172 paint is a hard, medium or soft paint?

Currently shopping for cutting compounds and DA pads so any advice appreciated

Would the heavy cut menzerna compound and Megs pads that come in the Clean your Car kits be too aggressive?

I would say so, ideally you want to start with a light cut combo and panel test for results and move up a grade if needed. However most Clio members use orange pads with medium cut.

Going in with a heavy cut you are at risk of removing to much lacquer and burning through on the edges.

Thanks mate, looking at their kits they all seem to be heavy cut and finishing compounds so I may just make my own up.

Still cant decide between the DAS 6 pro and the v2

I use the Das Pro and it’s perfect for the clios. Get a smaller backing plate and pads also for wings etc.
