Flashing ECU Light

I've been having an intermittent issue lately with the car showing a flashing ECU light & begins firing on 2 cylinders. It doesn't always happen immediately but it nearly always happens with in 5-10 minutes.

I've read some other forum posts and people mention common things. Here's what i've replaced so far: HT Leads & Coil Pack.

I've noticed that when the car is firing on two cylinders the coil pack is not giving a spark from the two far left plugs. Turning it off and then back on again usually corrects the issue.
I've ordered an OBDII sensor to try and read the fault codes.

If anyone has suffered similar and knows what cured their fault please let me know.

Have you tested the coil pack wiring?

Just a quick update to this. I believe I've resolved the issue, it was a loose wire on the ECU wiring. The plug itself seemed a little loose and when it was firing on two cylinders pushing on the connector resolved the issue.

I've put some strong cable ties around the ECU and over the clip and I've been out on two long runs in which the issue would have definitely normally reared it's ugly head; I've had no issues which is a great sign.
