Fli active sub problem?

  ?
Recently installed a fli active 12" sub....

However, recently it has started "popping" randomly, it is most noticeable when the volume is low or there is no music on. Its very random and just sounds like someone is stuck in my boot knocking trying to get out!

The sub still sounds really good when music is playing, so im thinking it might just be a wiring problem like a bad earth? (even though the earth hasnt been touched). I looked over it and couldnt find a fault.

Any suggestions?

ide give a good shout on the earth, had multiple problems in my old car and i think it was the earth, if youve earthed it in the boot like i did on the back of the lights, just peal the carpet back and scrape at the paint till bare metal showing

As far as i know the popping that ur on about is something to do with the remote wire mate, its the hu turning the amp off and on again but not sure why it does it or why only some subs pop when doing it, if it was a bad earth then it wouldnt work at all. The same with dogy wiring, if there was anything wrong with the wiring u wouldnt get power to it full stop.

Sometimes when the wiring has been inadvertantly cut or something, this can happen. Happened to me, and a mate. Check all the wiring. First, the ground, check that there is bare metal underneath where it is connected. Then check all the other wires, remote, rca's and speaker cable to check there is not a tear or cut in them.
