.flv file playing problems

For some reason when I try to view .flv on websites the video doesn't play it just comes up with the end screen when I hit replay nothing happens? any ideas whats wrong.

.flv is flash video, so make sure you have the latest veersion of Flash installed.

just check adobe site for the flash player and I have the latest installed :S
