Is there a way to change the difficulty? Managed to win League, FA, Prem and CL in my first season thanks to Torres in my first season

It seems to get harder in the 2nd year when the Home Grown rule is applied.

I'm struggling on mine. 18 games in, 4th in the league and 8 points behind City who are top. Don't think I'll be repeating my title success this time around. Loving the game though. So addictive.
