Fog light advice

My clio is a 98 model without fog lights, the bumper has the holes for them to go in. will the lights off the new model clio fit my 98 model? Does it need any extra fittings? Thanks

no they wont - to fit spotlights 1st of all you will need the pods that slot into the bumper 7701205717 £13.08 - then you will need the spotlights 7701205664 £55.77 o/s - 7701205665 £55.77 n/s - then the loom from the spots to the fuse box 7700283861 £25.57 also the switch on the steering column 7701051759 £60.35 - all this can be bought from a breakers for about £100.

Its not too much effort to fit bog standards ones in for your year, but as guy above said cant fit newer shap ones in. Can pick up bog standards quite cheap from a scrappy, £20?

but for the amount of time you actually use them, probs not worth the bother. i put mine in an have used them once i think.

up to you tho m8

Why would you even want fogs? Surely not to drive around with them on?

If you just like the look of a car with that has fogs fitted then just buy second hand ones but dont bother wiring them up.

Remember kids - fogs are for fog, not broad daylight or even darkness. It DOES NOT make you look cool.

Lol, i had no intention of just driving around with them on, more for cosmetic purposes but as i found out yesterday fog lights could come in handy now and then. Thanks for puttin those numbers up for me, i will check out a few scrapyards near me n see wot i can find. Cheers guys

What Mark Clio is it?

I fitted fogs to the front of my Mk1 clio for £20.50

Got all of it from the scrappy from various cars.

Worth a look.
