for the painters

The drivers door on my cup has a repair above the door handle, not to the best of standards. Can see sanding marks beneath the clear coat, and its not 100% flat above the handle area, abit 'wavey lol' I know its hard to say without pics, but can it be re-flatted (filled?) and painted? What else would need to be done, whole side to blend in? or just the door? What sort of money should i be paying for a top job? (fussy t**t alert!!!)

Get the back half of the door done and blended into the rear wing. If its just a minor repair, my painter would probably charge me somewhere in the region of £150 for it. You may well get it cheaper as he is expensive, but you get what you pay for round here! lol.

Swear filter lol! Reet, so it could be made reet with the right chap doing it? There is a Morgan specalist not too far away, they do 'proper jobs' I'll wave some cash and see what they say....... Xmas beer money time?

Deffinately. All the painters round here are dead.

I've got an Alfa in for some bits and dropped it off 5pm last night, went past dinnertime today and already its in primer nearly finished!
