Forza 2 - CS racing online in classes?

Got Forza 2 on Saturday and what a top top game this is, I have been waiting for something like this for a while... much better than the demo, it doesn't do it justice!

Anyway, I've been hammering it over the course of the weekend (only got it Sat night - thank you block buster for not going out of stock!) with mates on live and the problem was that all our cars were at different levels of tune, so having a fair race was proving difficult. So we came up with the following:

For each class A,B,C,D etc etc we have built a FWD, RWD and AWD car for each class with the maximum number P.I before it goes to the next level. This works really really well, as I have a Golf GTI and a Civic VTI that have no engine mods but are top of class D and against lesser handling but much faster cars it's amazing how close overall they really are.

Anyone from here who's on live fancy doing something similar to this as you can really have some bumper to bumper action... providing you are all crap like me and my mates lol

I wouldn't mind havin a go of this, but i'm low on cash to buy any new cars... looks like my bmw, ferarri, lambo, and GT3 are gonna have to go then :'(


I have more fun in the smaller cars though anyway tbh... Am loving the BMW M3 with light modifications

you can put the cars back to the stock parts though so you dont need to sell them, just downgrade some bits down to stock. Main things that batter the PI are tyre compounds, stripping and performance mods, I just check what it goes from and too before I select the mod. So I dont have any really stupid fast cars, although I am in the process of making a RWD R34 Nur with a 3.5l turbo

I've got 2 Golfs, left one at 150bhp for the class races

Just thinking further we could have a 150/200/250/300/350/400bhp classes too where PI is unlimited, but power has to be upto any of the above? I still have a load of cars I left like that for those races and it's a fun managable amount of power lol

I totally agree. I wasn't going to buy it because I thought the demo was crap, everyone on here has been raving about it and I got it yesturday and its brilliant. Why would they release a crap demo?.

I think both is necessary though, because if you do it by power your restricted by how good the car is to a degree, so performance index is more even in a way... but imo both would be good, have a selection of cars to do all
