French n00b gearbox compatibility Q - JB1/3 bellhousings

Evening all,

Long-time lurker first time poster considering undertaking an engine swap for my Renault Twingo (c06).

I'm toying with the idea of swapping in an early K4M lump from a Scenic 1 although it would appear they come with a JB3 box, whereas the Twingo will be JB1.

I'd prefer to keep the ratios of the JB3 box and it would obviously save a world of pain if I could just bolt the current driveshafts onto it - can anyone confirm that the bellhousings are the same?

I've not done it before but they look the same externally to me except the starter motor is on the front on the jb1 and rear in jb3. I would take a good guess that you can use the current shafts
