911 GT3 & Audi Q8
Well back wen i was 18 i was looking for a new car, golf 2.0 GTI was what i had in mind but my dads mate was selling his 172 so i thought id see if i could get insured for me 19th bday in oct 2007, and i managed 1700:quiet: so i thought o well only live once and i did. paid 4k with 42k miles and it was mint only mod was ph2 rear lights and a full stainless system RESULT! O and it was ICEBURG SILVER! quite rare on the ph1 so ive herd.
So how it was back then when i picked it and washed it for the first time
So it was xmas and i decided to treat me self to a new head unit at good price aswell there still 300 in halfrauds and i paid 199 over a year go
So i thought the 15s where too small so the hunt started for a new set or rims. Took me ages bu finaly found a set of 16" F1s rare as fook! sadly not the renault oz ones but the standard oz ones either way i think they look mint. These where an absolute state though i got them of chris curr on here so i made the 300 mile trip and collected.
So next i put a K&N panel filter in and the refurb came along with great results.
Next i had to sort out the old center caps with where corroded to fook! Using the black and decke mouse and lathe at work they came out nice!
it stayed like this for few months
Then one day i herd a clunk to find this!
Suspension coil had sheared off so a nice excus to lower it!:rasp: so got on the fone to k-tec ad recived them a few quid later.
So me and me mate set to work one night after work in his garage was actually pretty easy compared to me old corsa!

So a clean up was required and these where the results
Thats it for now but i have started preping some ph2 side strips i brought off gregwilliams off here and they should be on soonish.
Some new pics i took today didnt come out aswell as i wanted though! uneven ground makes it look really high aswell:dapprove:
And a little bit entertainment on the way to the gym!
