Front comps, Who’s got 6.5 /17cm

Just ordered me some front comps (Boston Acoustics FS60s). Just curious to see who, if any have 17s up front?

Got a set of DLS MS6s upfront mounted in the OE positions.

Ah right cool! Ive got mine on the way, you just use MDF spacers?

Yep, had to make them about an inch think to clear the window but they did have pretty beefy magnets. Tweeters were a perfect fit in the OE positions which was a bonus too.

Cool! Well mine are only 3mm bigger than the mounting depth with no spacers so i shouldnt have any trouble! Cheers fella

you will need spacers, trust me

Hydeyho could ya post some pics of ya speakers and how they fit. My m8 fitted some 6 by 9s in his front doors, he just cut up all the plastic door cards and built mdf frames drilled that in and fitted the speakers looks turd but sounds nice.
