Clio 1.6 Dynamique
Hi all,
My first post - bear with
After a small front end shunt, and an insurance quote of £2.6k I am fixing my standard 1.6 Dynamique myself, for as much less than that quote as I can!
Having stripped off front bumper, lights, wings and bonnet I can see that the front cross member is now not bent, whereas it should be in order to slightly arch around the combined aircon/climate control condenser rad (hoping my component wording is accurate!). The replacement slam panel also does not easily align which backs this up.
My intention is to replace the condenser rad, and getting hold of a new cross member won't be too much hassle, it's fitting the member that will be the main obstacle.
So I guess my first question is does anyone have any recommendations for workshops in the Staines (Middlesex) area and any idea on prices?
I am also on the lookout for some Nautical Blue (TED48) panels if anyone has any, so that I might be able to avoid any resprays:
- Bonnet
- Drivers side front wing
- Standard Front bumper
Cheers!
