What is the size of the speakers in the front doors on a 2003 1.2 16V Clio Dynamique?

13 cm, same as rear speakers. Which I think is 5.25"

Bugger! Got a set of JL speakers from my old car, but they're fairly deep. Guess I'll have to suck it and see!

nah there is like a cup behind the speaker

just cut it off and your away(i had to do it with a cheap pair of alpines)

Is that cup for sound only or does it keep water off the speakers? I remember I had to fabricate some shields from an old coke bottle (plastic not glass ) to keep water from dripping onto the speaker cones (in a different car).

The cup is there to stop water getting on the speaker - give it a go that way youll see if it fits ok before cutting it out , or you could put a spacer in
