front lower ball joints

just a quickie please guys.

the lower ball joints on a 182 with cup packs, can these be replaced or is it a complete arm only?
i popped into my local Renault dealership and he said it was an arm only, but i have heard that you can replace the ball joints on there own, but even 2 local motorfactors couldnt find that part listed for our car.

anyone able to help atall?

Yep you can replace just the ball joint on its own. Like you said renault replace the whole lot.

I'll dig out the box for my ball joint tomorrow. Should be the same as the Trophy one.

Buy from anywhere, all motorfactors, make 100% sure they're 12mm not 10mm bolts.

Usual Renault, I need a cv boot [£45 from an independant specialist]
Renault said full driveshaft require - £350.

Its funny you should say that rob, But we've come across 3 different sizes. 12mm and 10mm as you state and then 14mm for the T.

tried Euro Car Parts and a small local motorfactors both to tell me 'main dealer only im afraid'

I stand corrected actually. I just checked it was an M12 bolt.

I'm sure we had 2 different ones at one point though.
