Front pads for non-sport track use

Hey guys
I want to take my Mk2 Ph2 2005 1.6 16v on the track and have been told to get better pads that won't catch fire!

What do you recommend?

I just bought some Brembo discs of G 172 on here and some braided lines of ktec btw.

your car uses the same setup as a williams (if it uses the calipers i think it does) so anything listed for that will be good. I have the above pads in my mk1 for road use, but I've made them fade on the road, let alone on track.

I like mintex 1155's. driven and been in a number of mk1's on track that run them with very happy owners. will be well worthwhile for you to change the fluid too. I put ATE racing blue in the MG ZS we took to the ring last week, and it makes a difference.
