Front & Rear Bumpers

is there any way of taking the grey bump strip off the bumpers on a mk2 ph1 so i can sand down, prime and paint it gloss back to colour code with the car?

From what I remember mate they are part of the bumper (could be wrong not looked in a while lol) probably easier just masking them off

If your talking about a standard non sport bumper then it will be attached, masking tape and news paper will be the easiest way forward

They do come off.. I've not found out how yet.. But I've seen somewhere that they do..

you will have a hell of a load of glueing to do, to get it back on, really not worth the effort.
