front right side light not working

dead bulb? Dead fuse? Fitted an LED bulb the wrong way around?

iv tried other bulbs in the socket but they do not work?

open your passenger door, there's a fuse panel on the side of the dash, refer to your cars manual and the icons on the reverse of the fuse-box cover to find the fuse that controls your sidelights.
If it's blown, replace!

would make sense. ill check that in a bit. dumb q.. but how do i know if its blown?

when you pull it out and look at it, the little bit of metal fuse wire will be broken. It'll be pretty obvious!
