FSH/FRSH

Importance when selling/buying a used car. Discuss please, I would say it is because it least shows that the car has been serviced as per recommended service intervals...

FSH - very impotrant

FRSH - not that important, we all know how bad some of their grease monkeys can be

yes its important, bills are important too, as the seller could have just got their mate who works in a garage to stamp it for them.

Renault history, isnt that important for a valver, as renault seem to know naff all about them !
So a speacialist is abeter idea.

Not extremely important to me.

Receipts are better, IMO.

Even then, missing either isnt a big deal.. you can get a pretty good feel for a car from looking/driving whether its been looked after or not.

  Ford Fiesta

does look good when selling imo.

SHouldnt do when you look at the work renault dealers do (not all but most) but someone flicking through auto trader is going to like to see FRSH imo.

^^Agree^^

FRSH certainly looks better for newer cars i.e 3 years or under. Looked at an 02 plate Mk2 172 the other day, one service at 8k odd at main dealer, other at independant at about 13k; not too impressed. Even if Reno mechanics arent any better the indeps it at least shows willing getting a new car serviced at the Stealers; if people scrimp on servicing costs have they been runnning a car beyind their means?

My valver had a FRSH when I bought it at 48K and reciepts for oil changes every 3K miles.

Thats why I bought it.....

As for when I sell it, Ive had independent garages do all the work, some of them more specialised than Renault lol!

Also, every receipt for every penny spent on the car. I think it says a lot about the owner if you can keep a few reciept in order and old MOTs etc....

Id want to see Renault prior to the 3 year mark (warranty) and then a specialist (e.g. HillPower, BB, Renatec etc) thereafter.

Receipts are what matter. I keep every one.
