Fuel light

Does having the fuel light on your car damage the engine, everybody says you shouldnt let it get low but is there any proof of this, according to the dashboard trick i have 8 liters left anyway.

But I always meet shell as soon as the light comes on..

Its just so that you dont pick up all the shite from the bottom of the tank really. Nothing to worry about in new motors.

i wouldn't worry its not good practice but there a filter there to protect you.

yeh i'm going tomorrow, it only came on when i was droping my girlfriend off before, will go the petrol station on the way to work tomorrow its only 2 mins away.

it no a big problem, just means ur gona be more u'll pick up the s**t at the bottom of your tank.

It's more critical if its a diesel. If you run out with on of them you can cause problems.

You have to pressuring the fuel pump system again not hug problem just a a pain not as sudden as the petrol.

Still you can somtimes not need to.
