fuel pumps

hi, after a bit of help with fuel pumps havingtaken the 3 i have apart.

im after a walbro 255 pump or something similar to power my turbo engine but im confused as ive never messed about with them yet so any help or insight is appreciated.

its for a megane but its a similar setup to the clios.

in my phase 2 (1.6) car i have this pump which is a bosch..

as you can see the picup is small and it fits in the cradle which houses the strainer. this setup has the regulator in the tank. which will be bypassed on my build for one on the rail.

in a phase 1 i have this walbro pump...

as you can see it has a bigger pickup and the strainer clips ontop the bottom of it. this setup has a regulator in the rail so no need to bypass.

i would like a straight replacment for the bosch one (do walbro do one?) because it will fit on the car as it is.

if i have to get a pump that fits the phase 1 pump cradle then it means changing fuel tanks and connector plugs and possibly use phase 1 clocks which will be a massive ballache.

so can anyone help me with finding a replacment for the bosch one that flows the same as a walbro 255?

cheers
