started off blasting all the crap off it with a week power washer. (got dan to do this as is a boring job, lol)

It was then giving a wash using TBM and sheep mitt, dryed with waffle weave

then the light was put onto it to show the damage to the paintwork

pritty bad as i think you'll agree

car was then gone fully over with a silverline polisher and menzerna power finish, followed up by menzerna final finish

car washed then washed and dryed again

followed by a coat or prime and dodo juice rainforest rub

also the wheels were cleaned and dressed, and also the plastics were dressed

Very nice Chris superb job!, bet Dan is well chuffed, PS he looks like a Polish car wash imigrant with that lance in his hands FLOL,

  Add me 2 ur PS3 - Lylak
Is the silverline rotary hard to use? Any potential for huge mistakes?

Looks like you did a good job on the paintwork, you can see the metallic shining through now.

Take pics of it in a weeks time, black ftl :(

very nice, what do u use to keep white wheels clean?

on Dans car, he refurbed the wheels himself, they are not perfect so just used a mild solution of APC.

Rotary mate ?

ZS looks good too mate, like it on the leggys.

the silverline isnt the best rotary, but by far is the best for it value, if you treat it nice, it'll treat you nice. tbh you've gotta be a right spanner to do any serios damage to the paintwork using a polisher. i practised on a few old panels i had laying about before i touched a car though.

cheers chris the car looks so much better :) will have to get myself a polisher sometime.
shutup gary :rasp: did you get your stipe sorted ?

its not a case of what i use its just a pain in the arse you clean them and a day later theyre black but ive mixed a bottle up with wonderwheels water and car shampoo that seems to work use a wheel brush on it then

you dont need to buy one really mate. if you keep ontop of the cleaning, it shouldnt have to be machined again for another 6-9 months.
