Hey guys just a quick one, im contemplating on becoming a member but being a sport forum will it really benefit me? What are the 150+ guides on etc is it all stuff i could use or is it all mods for 172/82s etc

would be interesting if i could see a preview of what extras i would get on the site (like all the sections opened up etc)

cheers

Tbh its £12 a year and you save that in discount from the traders on here. Being a member allows you to view the market place too which is a great place to get some second hand bargains. The guide section is not just for sports. All the sections on the forum will be available if you become a full member.

Two words: Do it!

The traders section alone is worth the money,
not only can you buy new parts cheaper than almost anywhere else,
but you have access to countless professional garages around the country.

One of the worse things about owning a car is having to find a decent garage that won't rip you off
or f*ck up your car through ignorance and stupidity, I haven't had to worry about that for years.

Then of course there's the rest of the forum to enjoy,
there's some good people on here.

Agreed the £12 is a bargain! I've already saved that money by buying parts of traders and members on here plus you get stuff like a key ring and tax disc holder + your helping to keep the forum running! I find it harder to justify why you shouldn't do it haha! Ps my upgrade was instant

Well im putting the car into renault, if the pump has exploded then ill be breaking the car so no point in joining up as i wont be ever getting a clio again

If you pay up you could get your problem diagnosed instead of putting into renault, plus access to top specialists as opposed to the stealers having spotty faced kids work on your car and charging top whack..

Don't take it to Renault! Not worth the time or the money. My local garage recently tried to MOT the car, spotted a couple of issues and asked a fortune for work to be done. I took it to an independent garage, they found it needed way more work than Renault originally told me. Got it all done for much less than Renault quoted!

Pay up the £12 for full membership, like everyone else has been saying, it's well worth it! Worth it for the cool bottle opener key chain.

A write off? So you crashed it ? Or do you mean it's to expensive to repair ? And if that's because you've taken it to Renault ? Try a specialist they can identify what's wrong and repairs things a dam sight cheaper than Renault ! I know because I work at a main dealer and worked in a independent !

A right off cause too expensive to repair i never took it to renault in the end got someone to come look and it was a fuel pressure fault

Ill never get a clio ever again, after being on here and seeing 6/7 threads daily on same faults etc plus my horrendous exp has put me right off haha

I realise all cars have faults but every help my cars faulty always seems to be a scary exp with a clio

It wouldnt be so bad if i had the money and time to sort it but after 2days ownership its completely put me off
