Depend on what sort of job you want and on what car if its you LY would think it woulb be expensive for a top job

There is a series 1 rst for sale in fast ford mag for £12500) he did all the resto on that all the RS FORD boys know this car C100 TAB if that tells you anything bout work quality

They aint mega expensive either BUT top quality work :approve::approve:

I had my 205 Gti sprayed a few years ago.I took all the trim off and rubbed it down with wet and dry sandpaper filling in any dents (not many TBH). It cost £700 for a decent job.Car looked like new when finished.

£2k upwards for a decent job. I've seen full resprays done for £600, looks like they let a 5 year old do it.

I paid £1000 for mine, full respray from black to white, blending and molding a different front bumper, flushing all rubbing panels, handles, locks, number plates out and fiberglassing side skirts right into the bodywork... although I got mine done by a guy who does it cheap cause he takes a very very long time to do it....he's done an amazing job on the paintwork but ive been told that its £2k+ by a few people for a really top quality job.

The guy who quoted me told me if I took the interior panels off etc it would be a bit cheaper too.

Just normal things like dull paint and scratches underneath the paint where the panel has been rubbed. Poor making lines around window seals ect...

Yeh I wanted to be as involved as I could, I did the full stripping of the car, the sanding of the whole car, prepping, some of the bodge work, quite a bit of the metal repairs. masking etc etc so I did quite a large chunk, which is why it cost £1000 not £5000

I enjoyed doing it all as well!
