the plastic engine cover fell onto the manifold last night and has melted, and now the car stinks!! how can i get rid of the awful smell?

LOL sorry to hear that mate. a common fault. Leave engine running to burn all the plastic off then open blowers and windows to flush it all out. Then buy about 10 air freshners haha.

lol....that happened to me when i first got my valver!! it stank for absoloutley ages!! try scraping it all off when the engines warm !! it will eventually burn away anyway!!!

wrap ur manifold with heat wrap before it falls on then it dont melt so easy

if u go to halfords they do some engine cleaning kit which will help u get it off....
