games on a ipod touch

there are some ipod touch's on ebay with various programs on them including a nes emulator and im curious as to how they work on the ipod? like how do you play it if its touch screen?

and when you connect to wifi on it to go on the net does it connect to a local wifi connection or do you need to subscribe to something by apple to download stuff?

I really fancy one of the new touches but i still have my 30gb ipod video i use it for films a lot and even though i have about 15 films on it and about 3000 songs it still has about 4gb left so the 16gb touch is the one i would go for. Would any of you guys recommend a touch if i already have a ipod video?

the only games i have on my touch are minesweeper and pong.

not sure on other games though.

mines works ok but pong is a little difficult with the touchscreen but it can be played over wifi which is cool.
