Has anyone used this company and had problems because i want to fit a clifford concept 300 to my new 1.2 16v but have heard they are not very good to use. There is a place near me that is trying to charge £350 fitted but im sure i saw gap doing it for £300

Any help is much appreciated

GAP are a quality company , they come out to wherever you are and fit it for you... i have used them a couple of times!!! quality company!!

Depends on who fits it!!!

the first lot who fitted it in my car were wicked done a pucker job.

at the mo i am having problems with them cause they cantr get it right on my sensor upgrades!!!

otherwise i reccommend them.

check some of my previous posts to see about them, i left huge amounts of feedback in there.

Beware they are not reconised by VSIB installers

Fitted a clifford to my 172 and i was not very happy, the brain of they alarm was fitted in the wrong place (ie not kept in its stainless less casing) Aerial was cut and extended so it would be placed in the engine bay as clios have a problem with the radio waves not able to enter into the shell of the car very well, (although clifford have a new areial out now, which works well)

I would recommend using a local alarm specialist who could be there if any thing goes wrong?!?!?!

GAP quoted me £650 for a concept 300 then when you push them they drop 100 quid!! Still rather go to a place that you can go back to if things do go wrong!!!

Hmm. Id avoid them. Ive heard a few stories about electrics after theyve been playing. My central locking went on my 309GTi after theyd fitted an immobiliser and they just point blank refused to say it was them. Offered to have someone come and look at it. For £75.

Go local I reckon. GAP are just a faceless company. Plus, theyre tied in with Adrian F(l)ux who (IMO) are also out to get as much as they can out of you...

i would go local, i did on a cobra cat 1 and ive had no probs with it !

i got quoted something like 370 for a concept 300, with no add ons !

when i told gap what the car was the price jumped from what they had printed !

so i f*cked them off !
