any ideas on what sort of gains possible from this arrangement to a 172?
Im guessing 15bhp?

and what would be needed in addition to get it all running right? It doesnt have vernier pulleys from what I have been told.

also how easy to install?

mega bucks?

Not easy...Unless you know what your doing and have the right tools. Plenty of people can set up cams if you give them the figures.

15bhp with decent mapping sounds about right.

Cost all in...Say 300 for map, fitting....250-300.

600+ for the head work. Cam price depends on the spec.

You dont need verniers.

RS Tuning mine made 186 bhp and 175lbft

dont need verniers for a 172, cams work well timed as standard, but you do need the proper locking tools.

Headwork, can complement other other mods nicely, but on it's own it's difficult to notice

Im thinking falkland as they do mapping. However, happy to go 'down souf' as its not that big a deal and i want it done right. £600 for all the installation doesnt sound too bad.

Just need to find ITBs now!!

If your going down the bodies route i'd suggest getting one company to do it. Whilst i'm sure Kevin could fit cams and map the car fine...I'm not sure how willing he'd be to fit TB's.

GDI, YS, BTM, JAMSPORT etc should be able to sort you out.

dont have the TBs sadly at the mo. though on the look out for some, should have just bought adeyspecs when they were up - BALLS!
