Got flashed by one of these standing behind a tree just over 2 weeks ago.

Am I to believe that if I dont hear anything within 2 weeks I have been let off, or shouldnt I start partying yet?

Was doing just over 50, which seemed to be in 40 zone. If I do get caught, how hard will the penelty be?

The new law states the camera must be visible for 100 yards(i think) before you pass it. You say it was behind a tree, take some photos to back yourself up and wait for up to 4 weeks. If somethink does come through, fight your case with your evidence, if nothing then.....sweet.

That visibility rule only applies to forces which hypothecate the revenue, and only a few of them do.

But the 14day rule should still apply.
