Gave my car a quick clean today!

I gave my car a quick wash this afternoon, leathered it off and spent 30 mins trying out Cusco Kid's Teflon spray cleaner on it and my car is now very shiny and smooth. :approve:

I have only cleaned the main panels and none of the trim/mirrors etc as I only wanted to try the Teflon stuff, so before someone says the trim bits aren't clean, it's because I didn't do them! The sun was really a bit too bright for taking photos but I took a couple to show you!

Thanks Cusco Kid! :D

Love those wheels, so much better than the new ones.

Lowering it?
I'm not lowering it as it's fine for me as it is... I put the OZ wheels on my car after I had done 200 miles in it in Feb 2002 and immediately the car looked so much better and although it's five years old, it still looks pretty newish and as I have a personal plate, the age isn't evident and lots of folk think it's not very old! ;)

I said above that I haven't touched any of the trim and only tested the Teflon stuff on the main panels! ;)
Sorry it's in the wrong place... I'm sure it'll be moved! I've just taken another pic since the sun has gone down!

Both!! I have a private plate on mine, and I keep it mint by regularly washing and waxing it. My neighbour thought it was brand new, despite it being 5yrs/ 55k old!
Liking your alloys alot, looking good.

All I did was to wash the car, leather it off, then spray the Teflon wax onto the cloth, apply it to my car and as it was sunny and warmish it dried fairly quickly. I then cleaned off the residue with a clean duster and hey presto... my car was instantly smooth and shiny! I couldn't see how much I used.. it didn't seem to be very much and I would guess less than a quarter of the tin and yes, I would use it again.

A neighbour of mine has his own garage and he is even more obsessive than me about how good his cars look and before I used this Teflon wax I showed him the tin and asked him if it would be OK on my car and after looking at it, he said it should be fine and when he came back later this afternoon he said my car looked good.

Thanks Cusko Kid :approve: It's a shame that a few Cliosport members had a go at you earlier in the week! :(
