Anybody had problems with clunking of front shocks on the 172. Its like the top bearings are not working but i have replaced these. Also got some nylon inserts from Gaz but these have not done anything. Its a spring clunking noise. Any help?

I've been told it's normal if it only happens at low speeds when turning, mine do it and a few other people's on here - ask 172Ben, he had his checked by Tweeks.

It does at low speeds but not when turning, but its only one shock!

gets what you pay for i'm afraid :(

I found the quality generally shocking. No refinement what so ever

I had this when I fitted my coilovers, it did it everytime I turned the wheel, mainly on full lock iirc. Top mounts were spinning aswell. PM Ben_r1 he sorted mine for me :)
