GDI tuning

Saw a clio wearing a gdi tuning sticker and was impressed with its performance.

had a quick search online and didnt find much about it.

Hoping someonce can shed some light ?

GDI Tuning are now based at K-tec (corrected). They can provide anything from mild modifications to high power conversions such as ITB's, superchargers and turbo's.

interested in just wat the gdi means is it a tuning company ??

it was blue possibly 05 plate im guessing 172 as it never had the centre exhaust.

im not the best with clios sorry.

GDI = Grey Devil Industries. Performance tuning company now based as K-tec

they were based in kimbolton but i think they have moved to st neots, any 1 had ne dealings with them as the are local to me

I know an owner of a v6 who spent a small fortune with GDI and it turned out that the work was the shoddiest he and others have ever seen. Parts broken and not replaced, dyno'd and mapped with the intake not properly connected and heaps of other things such as crap wiring and awful soldering. Things a decent auto electrician wouldn't be seen dead doing. In the end it had to go to another specialist. It is arguably one of the best Vee's in the country now.

I agree with you about the arguement issue as its pretty perfetic on forums. Thing is, and I really don't mean to be at all offensive with this but maybe you cant beleive it because you haven't spent the same type of money as this chap did with his car. Ive seen it with my own eyes. Looked like a 3 year old did some of the wiring.

Sadly, the knowledge level on Clio's is severely lacking on CS where it's members are concerned.
