GDI VS Yozza exhaust

Can people let us know is there much diffrence between the GDI and the yozza exhaust systems, Ie sound and noise really

If you have cruise on at like 70/80 not bad at all IMO. Depends what you class as loud though. They're really well made, make good power and sound mint on full chat.

the gdi system is a coppy of a yozzasport system

it would be yozzasport all day long for me the quality is very good and it sounds awesome :D

Yes, Made by Piper for us. Not gonna try to sway choices on here though ;) Depends which system you're talking about too, 172 or 182. The 182 system is one of the quietest going. The 172 is a bit more....erm how to describe......fruity

I think when mine rots off I'm going to have to go custom. I want a single can with the same layout as the cup racer systems and I dont want rolled in/rolled out/ slash cut tailpipes etc.

I'd just like a system that's as quiet as standard and 2.5"... but there doesn't seem to be anything available like that for the 172 :(
 
Surely just get someone to sling another silencer in? Problem I have is I'm unsure who to use. Prospeed seem to have mixed receptions and I can't remember who made MarkM's numerous custom systems that a couple of other people rated for quality and VFM.

I was thinking Pro Speed as well, like you say though, mixed reviews, but the system I have seen have been nice to be fair, but that's only a small selection. Was thinking Miltek, but I hear mainly bad thnigs where Renaults are concerned
 
It's annoying. I'd probably go YS and spec tailpipes how I want them if it was possible but I really really don't like the pipe routing on the YS or GDI systems and all the others have twin cans which tbh I want to do away with!

why? the YS was the first to do it that way as we found it best for power

Route it takes seems clumsy to me tbh. Orbisound on the cup racers would be the best route I'd imagine, certainly makes more sense than the layout of the YS and GDI systems. Although granted I've not compared any power claims or graphs on the various systems.

he's right though, anyone expecting anything other than noise on a small output NA car is sadly deluded. 1-2bhp increase, or did the temp just drop half a degree? who knows, but in reality all I'd expect is it wont need replacing after a year or two from water ingress and subsequent rusting.

Course am right. Am rarely wrong! ;) Exhausts on RS cars should be down to whether you like the note and the build quality.

3-5bhp. WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Given that 20bhp is only just noticeable. Roughly a car length from 50-120 i doubt 3-5bhp is going to set the world on fire.

Can't say whether it's true or not, I wasn't there, but ask me if I believe it instead and I'll give you a straight answer.

Ali, so you're saying unless you gain 50hp, tuning is pointless? Sometimes dude, you talk some horse s**t, lol.

The YS is one of the better exhausts out there, no doubt. If you want custom, go see JP who make the YS and ask them to make you one to your spec.
