hi guys had my ph2 172 for about 3 months and the gear box has gone. Its at my mates workshop at the min and im just wondering what sort of costs im looking at to have a new one fitted. Ive always had jap cars so i dont know anything about clios really. I'm out of work at the min so money is very tight would i be better selling the car without the gear box. Everything else is fine its done 74k heres a pic.

Gearbox refurb is about £300 IIRC !?
Or seconds hand boxes sell on here for around the £200/250 mark.
