Hi had my second clio 172 but when I over rev this one my gear box light flicks on and off...does any 1 else's or an I in for a big pay out?

I thought it was a light to tell you when to change gear at the perfect revs. Of course anyone correct me if I'm wrong.
Basicly change gear now or hit the limiter and watch the person your overtaking laugh at you
That's the intention, but it really means you've gone past optimum revs.
