Gear knob problem

Hi messedmy cup gearknob up and the blue paint has come off,can the top of the gearknob come off to repaint where the gear numbers are,or do i need a new gearknob thanks

hi it will just prise out with a thin blade mate.

Yea the plastic bit should pop out. Mine does atleast.

thanks both i had put a new decal lettering on and put clear coat on looked perfect,then oops picked up the wrong cleaner bottle which was acetone and my hard work failed lol thanks again

you can buy newones on ebay anything from £3.50 -£40

are they ok to paint over as want it the standard cup colour?

is it ok to just use paint or will it have to be primed?
