Gear leaver extention options?

I find I'm having to reach to far from my seat to reach 1st, 3rd & 5th. What are the (cheap) options to extend the gear leaver?

Modded Renault Scenic shifter, bit taller and pitched more towards the driver.

You could probably fab something up to bring the head nearer to you. Not sure how reverse would be selected though.

You can cut down the bit the linkage bolts to at the gearbox end and slide it on further to angle the gearstick back slightly

There is an element of adjustment on it as standard tbh.

Or cut and slide on further.

or as @Budgie said, underneath the car adjust the shift linkage (if the adjustment is not enough mark up the alignment, separate the two parts cut a bit off the inner bit and reassemble using your alignment marks)

I got one of @Ash-b-84 shifters and its hands down the best thing I've done on my 182.

Not sure if he's still doing them though.

i have the scenice shifter setup with the yanoo bush. I am looking at modifying the linkage tomo.

Great mod though. And no i dont think ash is doing it any longer.
