Gearbox Crunch in 2nd on valver

I have a 1992 valver that has done 110k and the engine has been out and rebuilt and now the gearbox is crunching into second when hot. When its cold its fine but with some temp it crunches going up and coming down. Double de clutching doesnt work and nor does holding the clutch for a while before changing.

The auto adjust is at its maximum and all i can think is the gearbox selector is out of adjustment

any ideas ?

mine was the same, just finished changing the box all mint now.

yeah i would be a new box mate once they start crunching ur screwed, but i suppose you can pick up a decent one for about 100 quid
