Gearbox for Clio RSi

Is the Clio RSis gearbox the same one like the one on R19 16V? Can I put any other gearbox on R19 16V, from Clio RSi or Williams?

I dont think that the 19 16v box will fit an RSi. But then again, they are all from the F-series of engines...?

you will need a tin sump box for the RSI.

Any box from any renault thats from about 88 apart from the J type 21s and ther 25s will fit no bother.

But if your badly worded message is to be read again it seems you want to put another box on a 16V? If so then yes but a tin sump box on an ally sumped motor will leave a gap. And to fit an ally sump box on a tin sumped engine means either leavbign the tie bar off or removing the studes from the box.
