Clio 182 FF
Sorry, probably not the first time this has been asked, but I'm finding conflicting answers!
So I know that 172 gearboxes use the circlip whereas 182 gearboxes have the diff bolted, and that the phase 1 172 and the 172 cup have a speed sensor integrated into the box, whereas the 182 the speedo is done through the ABS sensors...
But what other differences are there?
I've heard things about Phase 1 having a taller final drive, and Phase 2 being better for acceleration. And that Cup boxes have better ratios completely.
Does anyone have a list of what box model was fitted to what car models, whether it was circlip/bolted and speedo/ABS, and what the respective gear and final drive ratios are?
