Gearbox (part numbers)

I have to gearboxes part numbers (jb1046)&(jb1025) does anyone know if these will fit ok with out any extra work or if mork work will need to be done

what sort of work could possibly be required? I am really intrested in that. Are you converting to rwd in which case the box has no hope? Fittign it to a V8 perhaps?

The boxes will go straight on without any trouble.

I am still intrested in what mods would be needed though.

i dont have any major plans apart from fitting the box but i rang reno and they said that those part numbers wouldnt fit a 16 valver so i thought i would ask people who know a bit about 16 valvers.

Renault are hopeless mate. You have learned that now.

I have a JB1025 in bits on my desk. Its a box from a 1.4 energy 19.

Anyway these will go on but you will have a gap at the bottom of the bellhousing, nothing to worry about though.
