Gearbox Removal/Driveshaft Problem

Finally!!!! Got it in after a lot of swearing, swollen knuckles and wrist :lolup:

Well it's taken me a while, started to do the gearbox the start of December and that's in just finished . But most only because of work and weather and only being able to do wee bit's at a time. Would have been done a lot sooner if I had a garage to use!

Was going to give it to a garage to do it, but don't really need my car as I have a van, so thought my not. And saved myself the £400-500 I was getting quoted just to swap them! Now if I ever need to do it again I will have learnt from my mistakes :rasp:

Is there not a gearbox removal guide to help first timers ? Got to do this myself in the next couple of weeks

Yeah there is a guide for first timers, but its in the guide section.

Think I used the one by BenP iirc. Covers most things just not when stuff isn't going so smoothly :lolup:
