Gearbox whine when coasting

Hi guys

Recently had my gearbox out for a clutch change. Now I can notice a quiet whine/scuffing noise from the gearbox area at low revs and only when coasting down. If I only touch the throttle it goes away.

Any ideas?

Just to add, this only seems noticeable once hot, could this be the diff?

Mine's making slight noise as yours aswell but it's been rebuilt recently.

Do you reckon it could be something to do with the refitng? Since we have both had the boxes out recently, I'm sure I put it in right though...

Mine does this aswell.. not sure if its the gearbox exactly but i get a slight whine noise off it when im coasting or changing gear at slow speeds!

Might be normal. Nothing you can really do wrong when refitting.
