Gearknob insert...

alryt guys, just a quick question i would like to know how do i remove the gear knob insert??

preferbly in one piece!

get a finger nail in either side of it and just wiggle it free/up, did it on my GF's the other day just messing about at trafic lights.

I just used a knive, slid in and out it came. Ooo er.

thanks lads yeah i did try with my fingers yellow belly but i have no finger nails what so ever due to me biting them! a bad habit i know! so beef's way was how i got it out the end
